I am President of Doxpop, LLC (www.doxpop.com), a web-based information service. I graduated from Earlham College in 1984 with a B.A. in Mathematics and have worked since that time in field of information technology as a programmer, system administrator, systems analyst, database designer, database administrator, application architect, project manager, and consultant. I presently serve on the Board of Trustees for Earlham College.

I regularly participate in theatrical productions of Richmond (Indiana) Civic Theatre. I have played lead and supporting roles in musicals and non-musicals and have also worked back-stage in lighting design, set design, stage management, and other roles. In 1992, I was honored to receive the Volunteer of the Year award from RCT.

I play the 'cello, most often in the Richmond (Indiana) Community Orchestra, or in the pit orchestra of the Richmond (Indiana) Civic Theatre or as orchestral accompaniment to the Eaton (Ohio) Area Community Choir.

In the last century, I occasionally taught courses at Earlham College, in the Computer Science department. I have taught:

I have also written, with Alex Reeder, supplemental software, moss, as a companion to Modern Operating Systems, Second Edition (Prentice Hall 2001) by Andrew S. Tanenbaum.
