SPECT: Simple Portal-Enhancing Configuration Tool

Alpha Release Now Available

SPECT is a utility for loading and configuring various object within a Brio Portal Repository, especially as part of batch or automated processing. For more information, please see the documentation below.

The current release of SPECT is 1.0alpha3, released Oct 22, 2000. This is an Alpha release, which means that it hasn't yet be widely used or tested. Please feel free to download it, give it a try, and let us know how it works for you -- just keep in mind that this is an early release.

The SPECT Getting Started document listed above has complete installation instructions. (It's also included in each of the download archives, below.)

Note: if you are using Portal v7.x, there are a few changes that you'll need know about before you can use SPECT. We are in the process of making a new release available, but until it is ready, please send us an e-mail asking for the latest notes on using SPECT with Portal v7 before attempting to follow the installation instructions.
